 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Hogan Road was blocked in 2018 so we hiked from Route 16 in Gorham to the Mahoosuc Trail start at Hogan Rd and passed a pickup truck parked on the road along with fresh tire tracks. Mill Brook Rd off of North Rd in Shelburne was passable to the end to cut off 1.3 miles of Austin Brook Trail. |

A few small brook crossings that could be rock hopped but nothing significant. |

Poorly marked in some areas. Blazes are old and faded or non-existent in many areas. Survey tape used for some of the trail. Many blowdowns between Dream Lake and Gentian Pond. |

 | Comments: |
No snow on the lower section of Mahoosuc Trail, 3-4 inches of wet snow higher up. Lots of water in the trail and unfrozen mud underneath. No other tracks except for wildlife (bear, moose, deer, fox, rabbit). Very wet day. |
