the trails were well packed with a little dust. up high there was 1-2" of fresh powder. everyone wore spikes cause there was a lot of hidden ice and crusty snow. my hillsounds were terrific. it was a great weather day with long distance views. that's 7 down of the 48 at 70+. hiked with john from Westford Mass. on the way down. good conversation. |
