Rumney Rattlesnake.
Hodgepodge of shoulder conditions. Lower trail was relatively dry, however partway up the steeps there was increasing ice and frozen granular. Near the ridge, it's almost full cover (about an inch or so thick). Light traction probably a decent idea, perhaps rock spikes. Ice lurking under leaves too. |
