Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: room for several cars roadside at edge of Stearns Rd in Wilmot, but, it is very firm and icy - I had some trouble turning the car around above the parking area due to the narrow road and iciness

Comments
Comments: Trail is a mix of firm crusty shallow snow and dry leaves/dirt/rock. I did not use traction (micros would be overkill but I wish I had brought lighter creeper-type of trail runner traction). I did have to be really careful taking my time not to step on ice and slide, but, I slid multiple times anyway. Lots of ice on the slabby summit sections - had to choose steps really carefully. Summit outlook facing Cardigan, past the summit, is quite nice - it's a spur that's a bit off-trail. Probably my favorite summit in the entire Wilmot area. :)
