Comments
Comments: Gorgeous day. Spikes all day, did not need or bring snowshoes. Summit lodge was closed, which we didnt expect. Lonesome lake hut was warm w/wood stove and goodies. Lonesome lake trail down from the summit/Rim trail is very steep at first and was more icy and exposed to the wind than Hi Cannon. Smooth sailing after the steep part; we just took it slow and shimmied on our butts when needed.
