Comments
Comments: Thanksgiving hike. Roaring wind at top and clouded over. Winslow has nice ice forming and some hidden under snow spots, so use caution or traction as needed. Barlow was fine except wind drifted snow over trail so upper was hard to follow (have done it many times, so was no issue finding). More water rolling down Barlow and some ice glaze on rocks there. Entire trip was barebooted with good winter hiking boots, but traction wouldn’t be bad either in areas. Cleared 2 blowdown spots on Barlow so no need to bypass now.
