there must have been many hikers yesterday cause the trail was very well packed down. wore snowshoes for a 1/2 mile then went into 4 wheel drive(hillsounds). easy going the rest of the way to an absolutely beautiful summit with long distance views and no wind. I saw my first hiker on the way down at the trail split. that makes 8 down of the 48 at age 70+. very good day and I hadn't been there in over 8 years! Jackson is one of the best! |
