We started the day bare booting and switched to spikes at the first crossing. At the Bondcliff summit we switched to snowshoes and continued to wear them until back in tree line after Bondcliff. We ran into Bill Cronin at the West Bond spur and he was coming from Zealand hut and had to break trail from Zealand to the Guyot tent site junction.
