Parking for 6 cars at the trailhead. Iron Mountain Road is not plowed and icy. Made it up to the trailhead with AWD Subaru Impreza. |

Nice mostly sunny day in the 20's with no wind. About 2" to 6" mostly packed snow. Light traction a big help. Several great view spots and ledges provide views in all directions. The mine was an interesting destination, well worth the extra effort. |
