| Comments: |
We were surprised to find so few folks on the trail Waumbek, perhaps everyone was looking for bigger views, or still in food coma. Regardless, the view from Starr King to the northern Presidential ridge is worth going up on a clear day.
The trail was hard packed snow & small stretches of ice, well packed out. We only needed trail spikes this go. After the next storms it will likely all change. Above 3000 feet the snow is getting deep in the woods. Snow shoe season is almost here. |
