| Comments: |
We had a fine hike on Carter Dome with mild temps and light winds. Light traction was definitely the best choice up to Zeta Pass, with some bony conditions, especially on 19 Mile Brook Trail. Snowshoes were the far better choice above Zeta Pass, although we had to contend with lots of postholes from booters. There were not many hikers today, but thankfully there were enough snowshoers to keep the trails somewhat smooth above Zeta Pass. |
