Comments
Comments: Trail conditions were pretty easy, Howker Ridge Trail has seen just enough use that we wore microspikes the whole way and kept the Snowshoes on the bag. Snow depth at the base is only 3-6"... Maybe 1-2' typical as you approach treeline (with occasional deeper drifting), but Howker and Valley Way were well packed. Above treeline was mostly rocks with ice between them. All-in-all a very good day!
