One big blowdown just after junction with snomo trail. More of an issue for people on sleds than hikers. A few decent blowdowns on Martha’s Mile, but easy enough to get around. |

Snow cover is very thin down low. At most, maybe 2-3â€. There a couple patches with bare rock. Snow cover is a better above 2500’.
Tricky part to Owlshead ledges was easy. Not a ton of ice buildup to contend with. If you’re hitting these peaks before the incoming snow, you can definitely leave the snowshoes at home. Spikes are just fine for the current conditions. |
