Near perfect trail conditions. Deep packed snow with about 3 inches of powdered sugar on top. Brought microspikes but didn’t really need them. Snowshoes were helpful near the summit but didn’t really need them either. My hiking partner barebooted the whole way. Snowed all day. Beautiful woods but no views. Another 4000 footer down. |
