I used Crampons the entire way and it was good. Snowshoes may have been better but postholed a handful of times at much but never over the calf. Trails were packed down all the way to Carter Moriah Trail, which the snow became looser but still able to use crampons. Someone behind us came up with nothing on bots and was fine. |
