Comments
Comments: (Attempt) Madison and Adams with overnight at Crag Camp

-Airline up was mostly soft-packed monorail with postholing spots. Spots with thick ice steps needed some high steps and knees, but nothing major, remained in snowshoes. Ice, snow and rock on the exposed ridge required switch from snowshoes to microspikes to safely navigate the cliff side.
-Gulfside required snowshoes as the drifts were building to waist high holes hidden among the rocks.
-Spur down from Gulfside (above treeline) was consistently waist high drifts with minor danger of long slides downhill. Necessitated side-stepping while facing uphill across the traverse. Spur (below treeline) was very fun with deep snow to snowshoe-ski or glissade.
-Crag Camp was empty. Spring is running clear with no ice buildup on pipe.
-Spur was more fun skiing down
-Amphibrach had an unstable monorail but was easy traveling down in snowshoes to the parking lot.
