GreeleyPond well packed. So were the steeps. Crampons were a much better alternative on the steeps than spikes. There was a couple inches of new snow on the ridge as well as a lot of drifting. I used snow shoes so the ridge is somewhat consolidated. There was evidence of snow shoe tracks heading south on the trail toward Tripoli Road. A beautiful day with views in the morning and snow in the afternoon. Really great to join up with Chris for the descent. |
