We wore snowshoes whole day except for the road walk. Most of the trail had 3-4" of loose powder on top of a packed trail. Along the ridge the trail had less of a packed base and there were some spots with up to 6" of new snow. It was snowing enough all day that by the time we got back to Starr King summit our tracks were not visible. So there may be a couple more inches by tomorrow. |
