Comments
Comments: We saw an open area, perhaps an old logging cut, just west of the col, about a mile south of the boat ramp.

Snowshoed up through deep snow. Glad to have folks to rotate turns. Hiked easterly up towards the col just north of the peak, through open areas and nice woods

Once on the ridge, hiked southerly towards the summit. Woods got a bit denser and thick as we approached the summit... but nothing too bad.

The summit area was "flattish," snow was deep and woods were thicker...so it took us collectively a few minutes to find the canister. Returned out in a fraction of the time it took to break trail up :-)

Fun hike with: JEM3, Fran M., Bill C., Schorman, Campsite (P&F)
