| Water Crossing Notes: |
Early morning the water crossings were bridged. By the time of return, the bridges were beginning to get unstable; I could see where at least one hiker went through, as did I. Definitely use caution. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Isolation Trail and Davis Path could use a little TLC with a hedge trimmer in places. A few blow downs. |

Spring conditions. While the trail and established path were largely evident, there were a few inches of unpacked snow on the trail, which by the end of the day was mostly packed. I noted some new blazes at lower elevation in the open forest. The EHBW was laid out really nicely. There was drifting in a few places which obscured the bushwhack, so I meandered a bit, but mostly stuck with this season's established route. The trail itself is mixed of conditions. There is mud, standing water, and open water in some places, mostly stable base, but in some places the base is unstable, which I assume is water beneath undermining the packed base. |
