|
 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We parked at a bump out on Burnt Hill Road about 1/3 mile beyond the gated entrance to Cardigan State Park. Similar to B.Bond's report of last year. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Getting across the first little brook was somewhat of a challenge because of the high water (due to past weekend rain) and steep banks at this time of year. Beyond the beaver cut area was a little soft but could be avoided with care. |

 | Comments: |
Once across the brook and beaver area we slabbed along the northern shoulder until reaching the actual ridge and then it was open woods to the summit. nice open summit and easily recognizable high point. |
