Trails quite solid with some bare ground, lots of ice and running water. I wore micros for entire hike but it was borderline crampon time esp about a half mile above the 2nd to last water crossing until Liberty Spring tentsite. Franconia ridge trail between Liberty and Flume also in great shape. |
