Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail sign at the Smarts Brook Tr/Sandwich Mtn Trail junction has fallen off its pole and is lying on the ground. There are also two blowdowns about 0.1 miles below the junction on the Smarts Brook Trail that you can twist through but it would be good if they were sawed out.

Comments
Comments: 10.2 mile out and back on Smarts Brook Trail. Trail was broken out by snowshoers, so I was able to microspike up to the ridge. If it warms up or snow depth increases, I'd consider bringing snowshoes for traction in the last mile.
