Comments
Comments: Started with snowshoes until Jacob's ladder then switched to microspikes to summit mt Washington. Descending towards the hut there were several spots of drifting but the cairns marked the way well. Ascending Mt Monroe I switched to crampons. There was an incredible drift descending mt monroe towards Eisenhower. After getting back on the Crawford path i switched to snowshoes for remainder of hike. There was also heavy drifting on ascent/descent of Eisenhower but the trail was well broken up to Pierce. The Crawford path to the Highland Center was a packed superhighway. A great day to hike the Southern Presidentials.
