Comments
Comments: Crawford Path was a packed-powder superhighway all the way to the summit of Pierce. Some hikers were wearing snowshoes, but light traction is all you'll need on this section right now. The section from Pierce to Eisenhower has seen less traffic, and is less consolidated. Some hikers wore microspikes and left holes only a few inches deep, but I believe snowshoes were easier and the way to go.

The weather was close to perfect: temperature on the summit was 25 degrees, winds were mild, and partly sunny skies.
