Comments
Comments: From car, walked short distance on Diamond Pond Road to snomoed tower access road leading to Dead Water - South. Access road is snomoed only a short distance after which we continued on the unplowed road to the tower. We walked to the back of the tower and began the short bw to the recognized high point - a small spruce grove with a tree having a red stripe.
We then retraced our steps back to Diamond Pond Rd.
It would have been shorter to cut across Little Diamond Pond but we chose instead to walk a short distance along the road and then start the bw to the recognized high point on Diamond Pond Peak.
breaking conditions - very good - 1-6" on a supportive crust
grades - always easy
vegetation - wide open woods for bw
