Comments
Comments: Car to summit is a highway. Snowshoes car to car but several bare booters out chopping it up and postholing in warm temps.

I will disagree with those who posted about 'going the high road' on this, unless you want zero effort, no views and just getting the summit. I was solo and unable to break the entire engine hill whack, but the current 'high road' is garbage and completely avoids the allure of the whack - the glades. On the way to Isolation its a breeze, it follows the 3300 contour (too high) and trends downhill. On the way back, you're climbing uphill the entire time. There is a trough that goes the 'good' way through the glades and just needs to be rebroken/minor reroute with a crew.
