Parking by the gate at the west end of Gale River Loop Road is packed out by traffic and accessible for any car as of today. |

Snow depths are minimal on the lower trail, but much greater on the upper trail. Snowshoes are a must on the upper trail. Ice is mainly avoidable or not problematic. |
