Parking/Access Road Notes: i parked on old antrim road in stoddard less than .5 west of the trailhead. there is room plowed for a few cars next to a couple conservation easement signs. the road was plowed beyond, but icier and parking off the road at the trailhead proper would have been more difficult.

Comments
Comments: i booted the icy road then switched to snowshoes for the untravelled trail. probably 2-4 inches of heavy, wet and sometimes slushy snow down low with depths of up to 6" higher up with a crusty top. not ideal, but ok snowshoeing. had to pay a bit more attention to the trail corridor in the open woods from bacon ledge to round, but in general the trail was well marked and easy to follow. returned in my tracks.
