Trail covered in slush/melting snow, in some places with a few inches of water underneath. Traction was somewhat difficult regardless of what we did, but snowshoes helped a lot. Would recommend using them, as well as waterproof boots. Look out for postholes, which might freeze in the next few days. Hike took much longer than anticipated because of conditions (4.5 hours vs. 2.5), but we still had a fun time. |
