Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The Lot to the Wood Road /East Gilford Trailhead is plowed. Thick slippery ice covering the lot so be careful. To access the trailhead you need 4wd but with my RAV4 I was fine.

Surface Conditions: Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow - Unpacked Powder, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow/Ice - Postholes

Water Crossing Notes: Just a couple small easy to cross streams. The whole trail was very manageable.

Comments
Comments: Micro spikes all the way. Nothing too hazardous on 1/29. 3-7” of snow in places but microspikes were fine. If snow gets soft snowshoes would most likely be needed. Trail from the pond to mount Mack packed down by snowmobiles.
