Comments
Comments: Much snowier than last week in the presi's there is base but very unconsolidated from the beginning to Ike and I wore snowshoes the whole way for traction and pushing off in loose snow. I was in the minority of snowshoe users so in many places I moved over off the trail to limit ankle twisting. Visibility was an issue and going over George vision was a cairn and a half to two cairns.

Lot's of people out no one between Monroe and Ike. There are some small patches of wind blown snow where the usual trail goes up on Monroe that could avalanche. Once on Eisenhower trail is pretty consolidated and wore spikes the rest of the day. Saw Bruce Pfendler working on his projects.

Once on the road at HC got a ride almost immediately from an ice climber to Fabyan's Station and just up the road got a ride from the truly nice Ms. M from Maine that I had met coming down off George. She took me all the way back up and I really appreciate it.
