Three of us went up Crawford to Eisenhower then out Webster Cliff Trail to Jackson and down Webster-Jackson Trail. We used Spikes the whole day even though we carried snowshoes. Crawford Path to Pierce and Webster-Jackson trail were very well packed and smooth. From Pierce to Eisenhower and from Pierce to Jackson was a bit looser and easy to post hole deeply if you stepped off trail but the trail itself was in good shape. As is often the case, there some ice coming down off the summit of Jackson but it was easy enough to avoid. Overall great conditions! |
