Comments
Comments: Bike Path, Herd Path, and Liberty Springs Trail were all incredibly well-packed. Snowshoes not needed. There appeared to have been a lot of butt sledding down Liberty Springs Trail, but it wasn't icy or steep enough to be problematic for microspikes.

It was my first time up Flume Slide Trail in the winter. The approach to the slide was relatively packed out, but a bit torn up: no postholes, but uneven. I don't think snowshoes would have helped smooth things out as the monorail was pretty firm. There was some visible ice on the slide, but much of it was covered with either packed powder or loose powder. There were a few slightly tricky spots. I used crampons and an ice axe.
