Comments
Comments: Morgan/Percival loop is very well traveled and hard-packed with lots of blue ice. Snowshoe were still best higher up. There were no tracks to Squam; I broke out a light crust over a foot or so of snow. Tracks headed west to on Crawford Ridgepole, which I followed to a logical point to bushwhack to the spot elevation point on Webster. To return, I backtracked a short distance on trail and then bushwhacked in open woods to catch the Morgan tr. The bushwhack cutoff was initially steep, but otherwise very nice.
