Hiked Gorge Brook to top, skied AT, Carriage Road, Snapper, Gorge Brook.
Wind-scour and hard-pack on the top, pretty firm and hard for us to turn on Carriage Road, even with 135 cm skis. Somewhat harder snow and conditions then we'd thought. Much better on gentle Snapper. I'll be sharpening my edges and practicing more at a downhill area before I'm ready to ski Mt Washington's auto road.
Up in 3.5 hours, down in 2.5; faster to have walked down. My younger buddy fell five times, I fell at least eight times. Good, safe day on the mountain, tho.
