Comments
Comments: Crawford Path to Pierce was packed down nicely; from Pierce to Eisenhower, much less. Snowshoes necessary. Heading up the dome, it was very icy. Crampons or mountaineering snowshoes with very good grip (crampons) are needed. The powder is blown off and it is all ice and crusty snow. Very windy on Eisenhower. Those hiking Pierce had a mix of snowshoes and microspikes. Did not see anyone with just micros on Eisenhower.
