Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: I/mostly Ed removed the blowdowns/deadfall on the trails. Shouls be good until the next wind blows. On the bushwhack descent (south) from Canaan Mt, we removed TONS of pink tape on our same bearing - I mean, it was CRAZY!!!!

Comments
Comments: Great day to get these peaks: a little misty and no views but new trails and a great intro (for me) to the Ossipees/"AWESOMEpees." We donned the snowshoes around 2500' for the final approach to Mt Shaw. On Shaw, we found dozens of beer cans and cigarette butts, but, happily, enough sunshine so that I got a nice burn during the hour+ nap I enjoyed. THAT was awesome!!! We enjoyed a bushwack over to Canaan Mt on our descent and tagged both bumps there. Thanks Ed for the company. ALSO, compliments to the webmaster for his guidance and advice!!! :) No other souls on the trails today!!!!
