Cold and windy this morning. As soon as I was descending sunshine opened up. The summit was socked in when I was up there but once back at the trailhead it looked pretty clear up there. Only ran into one fellow hiker minus the few people I saw towards the very end of my hike who started up around 1 which seemed late to me. Looked like everyone had been using snowshoes except one bare booted ahead of me. I used khatoola k10s because I was too lazy to put my snowshoes on, they weren’t *needed* but would’ve been easier than sliding in the new powder while ascending oh well |
