Comments
Comments: If you head into the New Hampshire mountains this weekend wearing Microspikes, you will look foolish. We've had three separate snowfalls this week (Monday, Tuesday into Wednesday, Wednesday into Thursday), in addition to the storms late last week. Winter is here and snowshoes (or skis) are the way to go.

The only folks up Mt. Livermore used snowshoes, so the trails were in good shape. Old Mountain Road is decently packed out, but not for boot traffic. The northbound logging road is broken out as well.

Crawford Ridgepole to the summit had been broken out, but drifted overnight (and was still actively drifting this morning).

Chilly morning with the temperature around 10 and some cold wind, but nice clear skies.
