| Comments: |
Much of this route can be deemed snow free, albiet wet. Piper Mtn snow free and Gunstock Mtn trail snow free except two small patches. The trails along the ridge did have some extended patches of snow/exposed blue ice, but can be avoided without ever needed microspikes or anything. Some big water and mud pits. Very warm afternoon, my thermomether was between 79-81 on this hike! Smell of humid air and hazy views completed summer feel. |
