Comments
Comments: It was a beautiful and cold day with tons of sunshine, making the day warm. Lincoln Woods Trail was well traveled and we wore spikes.

We switched to snowshoes at the Osseo trailhead. The trail was broken but soft for about a mile and a half, then filled in with 3-4 inches of unbroken snow. We broke the rest of the trail to the Flume Slide intersection. I was very surprised to see other hikers on the trail bare booting and wearing spikes, but I guess I have to accept different perspectives. The ladders were covered and tough to get up. Could not stay upright at all on the way down the ladder section, but no one else could either :) Grateful for such a fun hike on a beautiful day.
