Comments
Comments: Did an out-and-back to North Isolation, snowshoes all day. The current broken out Isolation Trail doesn't meet up at the junction of Davis Path, so I thrashed around in the spruce for a little while, okay a long while, looking for the unbroken Davis Path. Don't follow my track, stay on the obvious path, unless you really like spruce. Some blowdowns on the Davis Path going up to North Isolation that have to be army-crawled under, and met 2 hikers coming down from Boott Spur. After the short bushwhack to the summit of North Isolation from the Davis Path, there were nice views that you don't get in summer. On the way down, I broke out the section of the Isolation Trail from the junction of the Davis Path till it met up with the current track, but there's no need for anyone to follow my track there if you're going to Isolation.
