| Comments: |
Trail is snow-free and relatively dry for the season up until the upper most ledges. From there to the summit is snow, ice, and running water. Traction is very necessary for the last .5 or so.
Saw a bunch of people turned around for lack of traction aids. Microspikes worked perfect, snowshoes would be major overkill.
Gorgeous day at the summit tower, great peak. Judging by lack of footprints in the upper section, the girlfriend and I may have been the only ones to summit yesterday. |
