UNH Trail (clockwise)
We broke out UNH to the ledges - there was 6-8†of fresh snow, which had drifted to 12-18†at 1.5 - 2 miles in. We lost the trail at the ledges & couldn’t find the remaining trail to the summit, so we turned around and went back down the way we came. Someone had bare-booted for about 2 miles after us, then they turned around. We buried the deeper postholes as best we could. Wear your snowshoes please!
Beautiful day out there today. |
