Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail from North to Middle, then South, is a mess in my opinion. Lots of blow downs, crawl unders, barely any blazes anywhere.

Comments
Comments: We had been wanting to do the Moat traverse for a while, and this was the weekend it happened. The trail, at the top of North, had plenty of snow and ice left on the trail and I was super glad to have had my microspikes. There was also snow in patches from North -> Middle, and then the path from Middle -> South had plenty of snow and the majority of the blowdowns. Very hard trail to follow if it wasn't for the footprints in the snow. Total mileage was 9.25, total time was just over 7.5 hours, with plenty of breaks and stops for food.
