Lots of people out today enjoying the bluebird day.
Snowshoes on the way up worked well though there were plenty in microspikes that were doing fine. The carriage road is a bit chopped up and postholed in places below treeline and could use more snowshoe traffic. Took off my snowshoes on the way down near the South Peak and got down fast by butt sliding and boot skiing. |
