Comments
Comments: Not a popular winter route, but we figured we'd give it a try.
XC ski from Mt Clinton parking lot to start of Edmands Path. Planned to go back if trail not packed out but found that it was.
Met up with 5 guys who were breaking trail, and shared the breaking out.
First 1.5 miles weren't too bad, but snow got a lot deeper the higher we climbed.
All of us turned around at about 2.4 miles (0.5 miles short of the Crawford Path junction).
Snow drifts very deep, trail very steep and overhanging tree branches difficult to get by.
