Comments
Comments: New snow, about 7 inches, more from drifts up higher. We used snowshoes for the ascent but one in our group used MicroSpikes. The trail was nicely packed prior to this snowfall so it was not too difficult to snowshoe the new path. Trail is in good shape though and ready for more hikers. Views along the way and from the top were awesome. A little wind today, all sunshine and warm temps in the 30s made for a most enjoyable trek. Worth the side trip near the beginning to view the Lime Kilns. Pretty impressive!
