Comments
Comments: Barebooted until the Camp 16 old Wilderness/ Bondcliff Trail junction in the morning when it was still relatively cold out with firm conditions. Then wore snowshoes from there until the Black Pond trail junction on the way out. Snow was becoming very soft quickly, there is an excellent snowshoe track and if you're heading there over the next two days with the warm temps snowshoes are the way to go.

Beautiful day with easy conditions. Felt like mid spring in the woods and late spring above treeline with the sun beating down and the snow reflecting up. Nice to run into a few familiar faces out and about, and congrats to the woman who finished her W48 on Bond this afternoon, excellent accomplishment!
